This blog post will discuss the updates and improvements to our community software and earning programs on Rhythm Music for 2023.

Community Software Improvements

Telegram Whale Bot 🐋

We have re-programmed and tested our Whale Bot, which alerts the Rhythm Telegram community whenever there is an investment of a minimum of 1 BNB.

Community Earning Upgrades

We are thrilled to unveil the Rhythm Music V2 release, which includes four new earning opportunities through the Rhythm ecosystem.

Listen and Earn

Stream music or watch videos and podcasts from your favorite creators and earn $RHYTHM. Rhythm Music premium subscribers earn 23* more $RHYTHM per minute of music streamed.

• Free Members: 1 $RHYTHM p/ Stream Minute
• Rhythm Premium: +15 $RHYTHM p/ Stream Minute
• Premium + Rhythm Silver (500k $RHYTHM in the connected wallet) +2 $RHYTHM p/ Stream Minute (Maximum Earn Yield of 50,000 $RHYTHM p/Month)
• Premium + Rhythm Gold (5m $RHYTHM in the connected wallet) +4 $RHYTHM p/ Stream Minute (Maximum Earn Yield of 500,000 $RHYTHM p/Month)
• Premium + Rhythm Diamond (25m $RHYTHM in the connected wallet) +6 $RHYTHM p/ Stream Minute (Maximum Earn Yield of 750,000 $RHYTHM p/Month)

Listen to Earn rates are subject to change in the future to ensure rewards don’t drain the Liquidity Pool.

Support and Earn

As a Rhythm Music listener, your Rhythm Music Home should be curated to deliver the best listening experience possible. Unlock a Rhythm Artist Pass (Details will be posted in a separate blog on January 25th) and earn:

• $0.1–$10 of $RHYTHM per Artist suggested & submitted by a Rhythm Artist Pass holder.
• $0.10 of $RHYTHM per Album suggested & submitted by a Rhythm Artist Pass holder.
• $5 of $RHYTHM per community-made playlist recommended by a Rhythm Artist Pass holder ($10 of $RHYTHM rewarded to the playlist creator).
• Provide Artist Data (E.g., Artist Descriptions, Genres, Albums, etc.) and earn $RHYTHM.

Support and Earn is built and will be released with the Rhythm Music V2 update.

Shill and Earn

Earn $RHYTHM for every Tweet, Reply & Retweet supporting the project.

Shill to Earn will be launched in Beta Testing with the Rhythm Music V2 update and will support the following:

1. Reward members who Retweet, Reply & Like Tweets made by the official @RhythmBSC Twitter account.
2. Reward members who support Rhythm through Influencer/Exchange Tweets (Tagging @RhythmBSC).
3. Reward members who read our blogs and find the Shill Code, just like this (Shill Code: #DEVBLOG1) — Shill Codes can be activated through Rhythm Connect (Video Example Coming Soon)

Shill to Earn is built and will be released in Beta Testing with the Rhythm Music V2 update.

Referral and Earn

Promote your Rhythm Referral code and earn royalties on all referred user purchases.

What’s New in Rhythm Music v2

Rhythm Music V2 is scheduled to release on February 1st, 2023.

• The current playing song now displays a song thumbnail in the audio bar.

• In-App Basic Fiat Buy Support ($10-$250).

• App Movement/Resize Improvements.
• App Icons changed from PNG to SVG format to support themes.
• New Navigation Bar icon updates.
• New Title Bar icon updates.
• New Audio Bar icon updates.
• Font Changed App-Wide.
• Create Playlist popup ‘Confirm’ button text changed to ‘Create Playlist.’
• Memory & Network optimizations.
• Click on a long playlist description to display the full playlist description in a popup.
• Page Change Speed / Animation Improvements

Bug Fixes

• Songs playing at maximum volume and then correcting have now been fixed.
• Playlist save issues resolved.
• Playlist Description overlapping issues resolved.

YouTube API Support

Generate a YouTube API key through our simple-to-use interface to get rich song data directly from YouTube’s API (Premium Members will be able to use the official Rhythm API key instead of generating one from YouTube).

Fiat Buy Support

Fiat Buy will be enabled for purchases between $10-$250 in the Rhythm Music Desktop app. Fiat Buy purchases require ID verification, and all purchases will be manually verified by the Rhythm Team during testing.

Fiat Buy purchases will be enabled on our website, Rhythm Connect, in the near future.

Rhythm Music ~ Home

The new Rhythm Home has been transformed into an Artist Home, offering users the ability to follow over 150 popular artists and access their albums, singles, and more. The updated navigation system makes it easy to explore and discover new music and artists.

Artist Pass

Rhythm Music accounts that hold an Artist Pass NFT (Coming Soon) will have access to modify Artist Pages, including Albums, Artist Descriptions, and Artist Websites/Social Media, and will earn $RHYTHM for providing quality content for Artists.

Rhythm Music ~ Playlist View

Open Playlists now display song thumbnails and now supports the YouTube API. Enable the API in the settings page (Premium Users use the official Rhythm API key by default).

Open Playlists will now display a custom thumbnail curated using the first four songs in the open playlist.

Custom Thumbnail support will be added in a future Rhythm Music update.

Rhythm Music ~ Navigation

The new navigation system allows you to go back and forth between previously opened pages (Exactly like Google Chrome). In addition, the navigation system remembers opened pages, playlists, profiles, and more!

Rhythm.CC and Rhythm Connect

The user interfaces of Rhythm Music’s Downloader website (https://rhythm.cc/) and Rhythm’s Wallet Connect website (https://connect.rhythm.cc/) have been redesigned for improved usability. Additionally, Rhythm Connect now employs wallet signing for secure verification of ownership of a wallet address.

ETA for Rhythm Music V2?

The highly-anticipated release of Rhythm Music V2 is planned for the beginning of February 2023 (Feb 1st). To celebrate the launch, we will be activating the features “Listen and Earn”, “Support and Earn”, “Refer and Earn”, and “Shill and Earn” during the launch week.
